These cards are printed on glossy card stock and measure 3 1/2 in X 3 1/2 in sqaure. Each one shows a yoga pose in white outline over a starfield background. They are color coded by type of pose: yellow for expansion, blue for contraction or green for twist. They also have a symbol in the upper right corner of the card showing type and sometimes flow. The flow symbol appears in addition to the type symbol and means that the pose can be incorporated into a “flow” or series of sun salutations.

The cards come with a booklet that has a short paragraph describing each pose and possible interpretations of its symbology based on eastern and western traditions. The interpretations are entirely subjective and are meant to be a starting off point for your own journey of discovery.
